英语作文:学会倾听 Learn to listen

The topic of my speech today is "Being a Good Listener". Good listening can always show respect, promote understanding, and improve interpersonal relationship. Many people suggest that parents should listen more to their children, so they will understand them better, and find it easy to narrow the generation gap; teachers should listen more to their students; students should listen more to their classmates, thus they will help and learn from each other, and a friendship is likely to be formed. What I want to stress is that each of us should listen more to others. Show your respect and never stop others till they finish their talk; show you are interested by a supportive silence or a knowing smile; be open-minded to different opinions even though you don't like them. In a word, good listening can really enable us to get closer to each other. Thank you for your listening!
今天我演讲的题目是"做一个好听众"。善于倾听，能表现出尊重，增进理解，增进人际关系。许多人认为父母应该多听他们的孩子，这样他们就会更好地理解他们，并且发现很容易缩小代沟；教师应该多听他们的学生；学生应该多听他们的同学，这样他们就会互相帮助和互相学习，并且有可能形成友谊。我想强调的是，我们每个人都应该多听别人的。表现出你的尊重，从不停止别人的谈话，表明你对一个支持性的沉默或是一个微笑的微笑很感兴趣；对不同意见的人持开放态度，即使你不喜欢他们。用一个词，好的听力可以使我们彼此接近。谢谢你的聆听！
