To encourage us students to enjoy the charm of classical culture, our school held the chinese Classics Recitation activity on the theme of traditional Chinese festivals last Wednesday.

A reciting competition was the main part of the activity,where participants recited well-known lines with considerable passion. Additionally, a forum held by distinguished professors gave us new insights into the festivals and classics. There were also various recitation groups which allowed students to appreciate Chinese classics written by famous people.

Through the activity, I have felt a stronger sense of pride in national culture and gained a deeper understanding of Chinese classics. I do hope there will be more such activities.
